We are proud to announce the success of CI’s 2009-2010 winter program: Fresh Tracks. Fresh Tracks’ goal is to inspire kids to have a fresh perspective on life by introducing them to winter sports mixed with environmental, and technology education. With various partners including The Chill Foundation, New York Inner City Outings, and Mountain Creek Resort, CampInteractive has been able to provide our students with amazing snowboarding, winter classrooms, character-building, and technology experiences this year.
We will be culminating this amazing season with a new winter intensive – a 6-day adventure at Jay Peak Resort in VT. In partnership with the Raise ‘Em Jay Foundation, CI will take 14 kids to this winter wonderland to explore skiing and snowboarding, winter environment education, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, maple tapping, snow-grooming, teambuilding, action photography and video.
Dates: March 29th – April 3rd 2010
For this trip applicants should have active attendence/engagement with CI or partner agency, demonstrate an eagerness and interest in all attributes of the program, have fair academic standing (C- or above GPA), should have some experience with being away from home and the outdoors, get along well with others, and show respect towards him/herself, others, the environment, and equipment.
