It’s organized by Partnership for Parks and it’s about putting yourself out there. It is an event that gets people to clean up their parks around New York City. It is also to help others and make the world a better place. “It’s My Park! Day” is doing community service and it can help you get into a good college and high school. The 3rd Rail is a no-holds-barred, winner-take-all rail jam event where contestants throw down in 3 divisions; 15 and Under, All Girls and Best of Breed for sick cash and prizes. Combining snowboarding with hip-hop culture, The 3rd Rail will also feature on-snow graffiti demos from some of the areas most notorious artists, on-snow DJ entertainment and the legendary MC Bunker Battle.
Today was really crazy. I went up on the cliff and I learned how to use my speed check to control my speed. It was really sick, a lot of people got the opportunity to go to the top of the mountain and snowboard down and that was gnartastic (really, really, awsome). I have fallen and that was not cool but I just got back up and tried it again. I also helped people out when we went up the lift. I can’t wait untill day 3 so I can shred some more.
Today we went snowboarding and it was really fun. Everyone had a fun time and that was cool because when one person is having fun they can encourage others to have fun too.
