Its My Park Day

What is “It’s My Park! Day” about?
It’s organized by Partnership for Parks and it’s about putting yourself out there. It is an event that gets people to clean up their parks around New York City. It is also to help others and make the world a better place. “It’s My Park! Day” is doing community service and it can help you get into a good college and high school. Next time why don’t you just join us and help us out?

As the day began, many kids were tired but they were full of energy. We started to clean the CampInteractive Tech and Trek center. Then the park people came and gave us rakes, brushes, bulbs, and shovels. We took a break and started eating breakfast. Breakfast was delicious hot, blazing French toast topped with caramel covered syrup that tasted as if it was kissed by heaven.
We had a meeting before we cleaned up the park. We had two teams, Team 1 was called the Outrageous and Team 2 was called UDTN(U Decide The Name). Many kids had different roles like the beautiful Donnette was the team Foreman for team UDTN.  When we were at the park we planted bulbs and raked leaves spreading love to the park. We made it so beautiful, making it look like Beyonce or Bow Wow. OMG!!!!
The reason for “It’s My Park Day” was so we could eradicate the garbage that littered the park with its filth.  Also, to restore peace and cleanliness to the world, one park at a time. Also, to save the O-zone. The participants of Camp Interactive proudly volunteered their time, for the service of the environment and the protection of our parkland which is a number one priority. To protect our world from devastation and to unite all people within our community is the purpose of “It’s My Park Day.”
Therefore, by participating in “It’s My Park Day” it’s a chance to spread the love to the places in which we grew up. The ability to show that we appreciate the home where we grew to become the men and women we are today. Through participating, we gave the environment that nurtured us as children. We could only hope that our example spreads to the hearts of others.
