My name is Katherine Flores. I was born on May 13, which makes me a Taurus and 15 years of age. What makes me special is that even though I’m shy sometimes I can get pretty loud. I love playing basketball even though I’m not really good at it but I enjoy it. I live with my mom, my brother, and my little sister, sound pretty small but I prefer having a small family than having like a gazillion cousins and siblings that I don’t even know.

   I help out my neighbors by babysitting for them when they have something else to do, usually I get paid for it so I guess you can call it a “job”. I help out my friends by listening to them when they have problems and giving them advice when they need it. I cheer them up when they don’t feel well.

   A memory I have happened when I was in the 8th grade. I was the valedictorian of my school and I had to do a speech about my experience in the school. The speech went very well although I was nervous.

   I’m pretty shy around people but after I get to know them it doesn’t even matter. Sometimes when I meet other people I have nothing to talk about. So I usually start telling them some of my jokes. But then I end up forgetting them and getting confused. It doesn’t really work.

   I consider myself pretty funny. When I try to cheer people up I can say the dumbest thing and be very corny just to make the person laugh. I only know corny jokes and when that doesn’t work I don’t think anybody else can cheer them up. Something that has changed my life would be when my little sister was born. One morning my mom, my brother and I decided to go to the park and relax for a while. However, my mom didn’t feel well so we decided to pass by the hospital to make sure everything was all right. That same day my little sister was born. It turned out that my mom didn’t feel well because my sister was about to be born. My brother and I stood in the hospital anxious and worried of what was going on. Then my aunt picked us up and we didn’t know anything until the next day. When we went back to visit my mom, I saw my little sister for the first time. She looked so cute and was so small.
