| We are the Outlawz.
The reason we are called the Outlawz is because we were outside and we made
up our own laws. Laws for safety, survival and order. The
Outlawz are 8 teens and 3 instructors who met each other one day to live
with each other for 2 weeks. We went as strangers and left as one big friendly
family.
All 11 of us went through thick and thin. We canoed a few miles, and hiked plenty of miles too. We made decisions on which way to go so we wouldn't get lost until the 3 instructors stopped and told us 8 teens that we were on our own. They had taught us plenty of skills in order to work on our own. We had to make sure we weren't on our way to getting lost. We argued a lot on making one decision so we wouldn't get lost. But at last we made it, thanks to those skills. We hope that by this description you'll know why we are called the Outlawz. Since these skills helped greatly in the outdoors for us they should help you in life: WE PASS THEM ON TO YOU SO USE THEM WISELY. This is what each letter stands for in our name: O = Outstanding U = Unique T = Tough L = Loyal A = Awesome W = Wonderful Z = Zillionaires in the future ============================================== LIFE I wrote this poem during the Camp Interactive orientation because it explains the experiences I've had in my life. During Orientation I started thinking about my life and what I want to make of it.
Life is easy is what most people believe, But sadly these people are wrongly deceived. Life is filled with ups and downs, New risks, new people, sights and sounds. Life is solely what you make of it, Do something positive, don't just sit. Life can be experienced at any time, fashion or place, New experiences, new people, and yourself is what you must face. Don't be afraid to live life and take action, What you get out of it is happiness, pride and satisfaction. So handle the downfalls, the deaths and the strife, For this is all that must be experienced in life. ============================================== |
