These are some imortant things that will help you in making group decisions. These helped us to make decisions quicker and without fighting. Calling circles- The group forms the shape of a circle so everyone can see everybody else. This normally happens when someone wants to say something important or maybe to settle a confrontation. Compromising- This is making a deal between two different opinions. Rock, paper, scissors- This is an effective game that is used in our group if we can't decide something. Voting- This is making a vote and majority wins. If it is a tie we do rock, paper, scissors to decide the winning vote. Listening - This is important for us to do so we can learn. We do this when someone is talking. Working together- We work together to get stuff done quicker. This is effective because six hands helping to do something is way better than just two. P.R.O.P.S- This is used when someone is talking. It stands for Proper Respect of Person Speaking. This means that when someone is speaking no other person should be speaking. If so, someone yells out PROPS. This immediately tells the person who was interrupting that they were being very rude. |
