The ABC News is what we do everyday at night. A = APPRECIATION B = BUILDING BLOCKS C = COMMUNITY Every night before we go to bed we have a circle. A What we do is that we have to tell everybody in the group who you appreciate in the group. It makes you feel proud to be appreciated and it gets your feelings out to appreciate somebody else. B Then we tell what you have learned on that day. This makes us realize that we learned stuff that we did not know before. C This is an optional question. It's time to tell the group what they need to work on. For example: "The group needs to work on staying together and motivating together while we're hiking or canoeing." So that's what ABC news stands for. It helps the group be more like a family. |
