Craig Meisner
Executive Director

Craig Meisner has been the Executive Director of CampInteractive (CI) since January 2003. Under his leadership, CI has gone from being exclusively a summer program to a year round youth empowerment program with a center in the Bronx. Prior to joining CampInteractive, Craig ran his own outdoor education company called ProActive Events; a company dedicated to creating outdoor experiences, curricula, and mission-centric fundraising events for corporations and community-based organizations. Before founding ProActive Events, Craig was an active part of his family business that manufactures bronze and acrylic sculptures and represents artists from all over the world. Craig is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Policy Studies and Management.

Alexandra Carelli
Development Director

Alexandra is joining Camp Interactive (CI) as Development Director with a unique combination of nonprofit and for profit experience. As a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in English Literature, Alexandra has been able to harness her skills and ideas to impact the social sector.

Most recently, she worked as the Development Director of Abriendo Mentes (AM), a community development project in Playa Potrero, Costa Rica. With AM, Alexandra secured thousands of dollars in funding through ePhilanthropy, expanded the reach of the programs, and streamlined the organization’s back office management through implementing best practices.

Prior to her work with AM, Alexandra spent time with Knowledge Capital Group (KCG), a nonprofit consulting firm in Charleston, South Carolina. With KCG, Alexandra learned how to view a nonprofit from a macro perspective, and was instrumental in leveraging the latest ideas in nonprofit thought leadership to help organizations achieve sustainability.

In addition to her nonprofit work, Alexandra has written for news publications both internationally and domestically including: The San Francisco Chronicle, The Charleston City Paper, and InsideCostaRica.com.
